1 (16 oz) package chocolate cake mix
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pint of your favorite ice cream
1 (8 oz) Hot Fudge Heaven Sundae Sauce
Preheat waffle iron. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Brush waffle grid with oil and ladle batter into iron. Bake until waffles are cooked through and crisp at the edges, about 5 minutes. Remove carefully, waffles are tender. Top each waffle with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle with Sundae Sauce. Makes 8 – 5 inch square waffles.
1 ¼ cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
½ cup firm butter, cut into ½ inch pieces
3 tablespoons cold water
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Filling and topping:
½ cup sugar
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
4 cups peeled,chopped apples (4 Medium)
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 8oz jar Maple Caramel or Butter Rum Sundae Sauce
For the Crust: Mix flour, sugar and salt.Cut in butter until particles are the size of small peas. In a small bowl, mix water and vanilla; sprinkle over flour mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing with a fork until all flour is moistened and dough comes clean from bowl. (1 more tablespoon of water can be added if needed). Gather dough into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate about 30 minutes until firm.
Heat oven to 400°F. Roll pastry with a floured rolling pin into a 12 inch round. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
For the filling: In a large bowl, mix ½ cup sugar and flour. Stir in apples until coated. Mound mixture in center of dough within 2 inches of edge. Fold edge of dough over dough mixture; crimp edge. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples and dough. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Serve warm drizzled with sundae sauce.
